Potatos Au Gratin with Mustard

Ingredients:

3 lbs russet potatoes, peeled 1/8" slices
1 1/2 tablespoon dried dillweed
3 cups (10 oz.) grated Swiss cheese
1 1/3 cups whipping cream or half and half
1 1/3 cups chicken stock
1/4 cup MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N' SPICY HONEY MUSTARD

Directions:

In a 13x9x2 baking dish overlap 1/2 slices of sliced potatoes for first layer. Spread half of cheese and dill over this and repeat with the rest. Whisk cream, stock, and mustard together and pour over the top covering the layers. Bake 1 hour at 400 degrees. Serves 8 to 10.

Good with ham, beef roast or pork chops and a salad of greens, avocado, grapefruit, and orange slices.

 

Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients:

2-3 lbs. pork tenderloin strips
3-4 tablespoons salad oil
3-4 tablespoon MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N' SPICY HONEY MUSTARD
1/2 envelope Lipton's dry onion soup mix

Directions:

Mix oil, mustard and soup together in a shallow glass dish. Roll strips in mixture, let marinade 1-2 hours at room temperature. Cook over fairly hot coals till done. The meat can be slightly pink in the center if you choose.

 

Mustard Cheese Sauce

Ingredients:

1 can of Campbell's cheese soup
2 tablespoons sherry
2-3 tablespoons chicken stock
1-2 tablespoons MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N' SPICY HONEY MUSTARD
1/2 teaspoon dill

Directions:

Mix together with a whisk, heat to almost boiling. Pour over cooked vegetables or cooked chicken breasts.

 

Cocktail Brie

Spread MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N' SPICY HONEY MUSTARD 1/8" thick on the top of Brie. Sprinkle chopped green onions and chopped green pepper over the top. Heat in oven or microwave till soft. Serve with crackers.

 

Tuna Salad

Ingredients:

1 large can tuna - drained
1 stalk of celery - diced
2 hard cooked eggs - chopped
1/4 cup cooked tiny green peas
1/4 to 1/3 cups light mayo
2 T MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N' SPICY HONEY MUSTARD
1/2 tsp dill

Directions:

Mix mayo and mustard together, toss with the above ingredients. Serve on greens as a salad, in a pita pocket or on whole grain bread. Optional: capers or sun-dried tomatoes may be added.

 

 

Turkey Toast Rounds

Slices of Italian bread 3/4" thick spread with MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N' SPICY HONEY MUSTARD. Top with shredded turkey, then a dab of cranberry sauce and a slice of Brie. Bake 350 till cheese melts.




Gourmet Sandwich

Ingredients:

Slices of hearty rye or wheat bread
Slices of smoked turkey
Slices of smoked cheddar cheese
Thin slices of pears, apples, or avocado

Directions:

Combine as you wish and spread with Mustard Girl mustard of your choice.

 

EASY MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N SPICEY HONEY CHICKEN

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N SPICEY HONEY MUSTARD
1 teaspoon honey
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Put chicken in ungreased 11x7 baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
Bake uncovered 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees, turning and basting with pan juices every 15 minutes.

 

Mustard Girl Spicy Artichoke Recipe

1 - 10 oz pack spinach leaves
1 - 8 oz cream cheese
1 - 8 oz dairy sour cream
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon MUSTARD GIRL SWEET AND SPICEY HONEY MUSTARD
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
¾ cup  monterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers
¾ cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 - 14 oz cans artichoke hearts
½ cup chopped sweet pepper
Toasted pita chips

Blend spinach in food processor. In large mixing bowl, blend all other ingredients and transfer to a 2 quart oval or 11x7x1 ½" baking dish. Sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.  Serve with toasted pita chips—absolute delight!

 

Mustard Girl’s Easy Pork Tenderloin

Smother entire bottle of MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N’ SPICEY HONEY MUSTARD over a 12" long cut of Pork Tenderloin. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.  Delicious!

 

Mustard Girl’s Onion Bun Recipe

1 package active dry yeast
¼ cup warm water
2 cups warm milk
3 tablespoons dried minced onion
3 tablespoons MUSTARD GIRL SWEET N” SPICEY HONEY MUSTARD
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons sugar
1 ½ teaspoon salt
6 cups all purpose flour

In mixing bowl, disslove yeast in water.  Add milk, onion, mustard, oil, sugar, salt and 4 cups flour; beat until smooth to form soft dough.  Knead on a floured surface until smoothe and elastic. Place in greased bowl, turn once, cover and let rise for an hour. Punch dough down. Divide into 20 pieces. Flatten each piece into a 3-inch circle. Place 1" apart on greased cooking sheet. Cover and let rise about 45 minutes.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool on rack and serve with burgers or sandwiches.

 

Mustard Girl  "Deanna's Special" Potato Recipe
7 lbs potatoes, peeled,  boiled and cut into medium pieces
10 boiled eggs,  peeled/whites and yolks separated
3/4 cup sweet pickle  relish
6 sprigs fresh dill, chopped  finely
3 cups cubed ham, slightly larger then pea  size
2 cups peas
1 cup  mayo
1/4 cup MUSTARD GILR SWEET N' SPICY HONEY MUSTARD
salt and coarse pepper to  taste
dash of paprika to  finish
  
Directions:
One bowl: place cut  potatoes, cut egg whites, sweet relish, ham and peas. In another bowl: press yolks through fine sieve add mayo and mustard; then mix. Add mixture into potato ingredients. Mix. Adjust salt, pepper, mayo and mustard to taste. Sprinkle paprika lightly over top. Refrigerate 2  hours and enjoy!
